As the rain pours down, it mimicks my tears
The loss of your love is unbearable.
I don't even know when it happened; I don't even understand how.
All I know is you are gone and I am alone with my pain ---- crying and watching the rain.
Every song I hear, everything I see, everything I do, reminds me of you.
Your smell lingers still...... in our room
Reminders of what use to be....
If I had it all to do over agian--- then I'd be able to see,
that we let everything that meant nothing become more important than we.
I hope as the days slowly pass,
you realize you too did the same.
It wasn't a one way street.
We both own some of the blame.
I know if we wanted to try,
we could re-capture-- what we once shared
I know in my heart and my mind
No other love will compare.
I wish we could re-unite,
and try to make all the wrongs right.

Oh what a lucky cat you be,
although it's not a mouse.
You batted it and rolled around,
and bellied up for me,
If you could speak I know you would have laughed aloud with glee.
The joys that you have given me,
a price tag can't compare.
You greet me when the sun comes up;
at night my bed you share.
Enchanting me with purrs and pounce,
you really rule the house.
I'll never be able to return all you give to me,
So I let you play with the candy,
and delight in your company.

In the still quiet of pre-dawn, the silence speaks to me.
It says there's more here for you, so listen carefully.
You didn't want to hear me, you didn't even try.
I sent you lots of signals; I sent you warnings too,
I did all I knew how, it was really up to you.
Atlast you hear my speaking, atlast you hear my voice,
Atlast you understand, it was you who had the choice.
It echos in my mind, it whispers in my ear,
I tell you only wisdom because I love you dear.
We're on this road together, I'm trying to guide you through,
Just listen very closely; I am the Divine in you.

In The Garden
I love to work in the garden, my hands playing in the soil.
Tilling, pruning and planting-- hardly seems like toil.
It gives me so much joy when buds begin to bloom
I feel very close to GOD, creating in the earth's womb.
Then I have all Summer the happiness they bring,
The beautful colored flowers -- make me want to sing.
Each morning when I water, each evening when I prune
I hope to have good weather --that Winter won't come too soon.

Things left behind leaving.
Memories given away, forgotten.
Photographs of you are beginning to fade.
Chains around my heart are forcing me down.
When I come to you crawling, will you take me in?
What was mine is forced in a corner, piled, covered in a white sheet, as if in death.
Will you be there for me when I die?
I had always believed you would.
And I think of hot air balloons in the early cerulean sky
Of bubble cars, a couch, a bottle of wine, roaches
in your drawer.
Of tall hats on a bright autumns's day.
And the chain around my heart tightens.
When I come to you in death, will you take me in?
